Writers talk, laugh, eat and make books too

Following the launch of our third book, Hoodworks in Nowra recently (published by Well Sprung Productions www.wellsprungproductions.com.au), members of The Writing Hoods gathered at Sungrove Farm  in Milton NSW last week for a fun day of making books. We talked, laughed, ate and crafted some wonderfully creative handmade books, in which to put our poetry, prose and artwork.

Thanks to Maureen Curry for inviting us to Sungrove Farm and for making her beautiful old cottage available for the day. You can find out more about staying at historic Sungrove cottage by following this link www.sungrovecottage.com.au.

thank you for your generous guidance with folding and cutting and voila! it’s a book and the endless possibilities to embellish and add words and images or upcycle old papers….. a truly inspiring day and the cottage was perfect!

    Hi Marama

Me again. I thought you might like to see what appeared in the email. Maybe we need to talk to Moo some more! I don’t remember any of the other New Post messages coming through like this, though, so maybe it’s something to do with the order (pic first then text….)???

    Gorgeous photo of the cakies!
