creating beautiful journals and books

TRIO exhibition opening soon

My friend and colleague, artist and innovator, Sharon Armstead and I have exhibited together annually since 2007 as part of the local arts festival.

This year we have joined with textile artist Susan Curran to create an exhibition titled TRIO. My artist’s books and work on paper focus on trees (treeo) to fit in with this year’s Milton Ulladulla Escape ArtFest theme of Branching Out.

Our new venue is Bunyas Organics and Antiques, in the old petrol station on Princes Highway, Milton, NSW  – just along from and opposite Milton Bakery.

Our work includes artists’ books, works on paper, Sharon’s stunning eco prints using eucalypts and other natural dyes and her amazing jewellery including bracelets made from old magazines. You will also be able to walk through  a forest of beautifully dyed handmade felt trees created by textile queen Susan Curran.

We will hang the exhibition next week in preparation for the grand opening on Saturday 29thSeptember from 2-4pm. The exhibition will run until 14th October. I’ll show you a sneak preview next week.
